  1. Thanks for the response. What additional undergrad math/stat course(s) would be best to take next spring before heading off to grad school?

Undergraduate Institution: US News top 5 public University Major: Biology GPA: Overall : 3.7 Type of Student: Domestic Male Relevant Classes: Statistics for Biologists (A+) Intro R course (A+) Calc I (A) Calc II (taking this summer) Calc III (taking this fall) Applied Linear Algebra (taking this fall) Test Scores : GRE general : V 164 / Q 164 / A (pending) Research Experience: conducted RNA sequencing analysis in R in plant immunology lab, helped develop protocol for the lab currently working with professor to run some models and be coauthor for a competing risks survival analysis publication (have read a textbook on survival analysis in order to contribute to this) LOR : Two from aforementioned research professors, 1 from mathematics professor Schools (Masters): UNC (reach) Michigan (reach) Hopkins (reach) Vanderbilt (reach) Boston University (reach) Columbia (reach) Cornell (reach) VCU (in range) Medical University of South Carolina (in range) Temple (in range) Do I have a realistic shot at any of my reaches if I get As in the remaining Calc courses and linear algebra? I was a pre-med until a few months ago when I realized how much I enjoyed the biostatistics course, so I don't have many math/stat courses under my belt. Thanks
