oops. just received my official admission letter 🤗

i received my unofficial admission letter on March 17 from UofA, MPH. I have been ever since waiting for the official admission letter from FGSR which should be issued in about 3 weeks after the unofficial letter. Havent heard back up until now and its stressing me out on wether did i actually get in or no ? 😕

This year MPH thread is going strong & lots of acceptances. so happy for all of us 💜

i am an international applicant so i have also received a letter of support to help issue my study visa from UofA and it stated the program is so competitive that only 10% of applicant make it to admission offers. Last year out of 500 applications only 80 received offers. this year its even more competitive since we have one general MPH stream only with maximum capacity of 50.

Just got into UofA MPH 😍 Finally the wait game comes to an end. haven't heard back from lakehead though.

i dont know 😕 i have a strong feeling this is related to being put as rejected in the system hence gmail access being revoked because what else relationship do i have with the university ?

No. im not a UofA alumni. this is my first time applying.

I received a mail from U of A stating "Your relationship to the university has changed. The following modifications will occur to your U of A account: Gmail storage limit set to 100 MB Google Apps access revoked and related data removed (Drive, Calendar, Photos, Docs, etc. Does this mean i am rejected ?

Waow 80 is alot but i guess the number was due to multiple streams within MPH. Currently there is only one general MPH program. Hoping for the best !!!

are you domestic or international ? & whats your status U OF A? i am international and its under review.

How were you able to apply in the Global health stream at U of A ? they have suspended all the MPH specialisation streams and the only MPH program that exist is the new general MPH commencing fall 2023.

Im not really sure 😕 but as per last year, few acceptances were sent out as early as 15th Feb.

What was your average if you don’t mind sharing ? I have applied at the university of Alberta and lakehead with cgpa of 3.6 out of 4, graduated with distinction with Bachelors of Nursing. I want to apply to more universities where the MPH program is less competitive and easier to get into, what do you suggest ? (+ i am an international student)
