Hi, I had my prelim on Tuesday morning and got a call today evening. However I don't think it's "required" required and there may be more waves. Last year someone posted in Jan about prelims. I also feel like this is an international student thing. Would be nice to know if any domestic student got it.

A PI that contacted with me before said UC Berkeley MCB will send out emails next Mon/Tues for 2 dates of virtual. Then there will be final recruitment visit in person. Hope that helps.

I just got an invite for Weill Cornell BCMB for a virtual round in Jan 4/5. Second round is in person in NYC. The deadline to reply for a spot is Dec 19th so I'm thinking today and tomorrow may be the only batches of invite they will send. Good Luck all. I'm international studying at US university by the way.
