@hesitantconsultant same thing I said in my previous post. I haven't found anything on the Facebook group. So I suggest you send them an email. Best of luck!! -

@isitimportantI had been accepted to a Ph.D. program and they have a Facebook group where they invite all who had been accepted to interact with each other. People usually present themselves by mentioning which program they were accepted to. I looked for posts mentioning "economics and education" and I hadn't found anything. There are a couple of people from the Philosophy and Education program but nothing from the Economics one. Send them an email because there are plenty of people in that group that had been accepted to a Master's program. So I wouldn't be surprised if all the Master's programs already called everyone. Best of luck for you!! -

@burritoman Yes they are. I applied for a Ph.D. in Social Organizational Psychology and it was a whole day of interviews because they also present the program, the faculty, and the financial structure. Based on the others reporting that they had different days, I am guessing that each program had its own day or interview?! I don't know. If I am going to be honest with you, I suggest you reach out to the Admissions department. I can not speak for any Master's program but my interview had something around 10 interviewees. So I believe that whoever they pick for their waiting list, it would be around those 10. Meaning if you applied for a Ph.D. program and you haven't been called for an interview, I am afraid to say that you have probably not been selected. -

@pepina don't mention it. I am glad that I could help. ? And just go give you some numbers, usually a PhD application ratio is something around 20 to 30 students for 1 spot. So, despite everything, being called for an interview is already a big feat. I honestly believe that anyone called for an interview is 98% there. I dropped out from a PhD program before and I can tell you is not a piece of cake. You must be in the best shape you can muster for 4 or 5 years. I can only imagine what you are going through but if you really have the PhD goal, I would say the best thing for you is for that happening now, sooner, than later during the 1st or 2nd semester when you are still trying to adapt and making sense of everything. Take your time to let what is happening on personal life sit in. Cry your eyes out to the point you get dehydrated. Just do it. Allow yourself that moment. But do comeback because I really believe that if you have been called for the interview it means you still have a lot to contribute. And, let's be honest, you still have the interview to go through!! ? You are almost there, but not there yet. Hold on to your strengths and plow through. ? -

@pepina don't underestimate yourself. Being called for an interview means a freaking lot!! I do not know if you applied for a Masters or a Ph.D., but if Ph.D. programs have 5 spots they call something around 6 students for interviews. And if they like all 6, they find a way to accept all of them. I do not know how it is to go through a divorce but I struggled with mental health issues along the whole the past year not believing in myself. So I know a couple of things about seeing your life crumbling down on your feet and feeling you have nowhere to hold. My invitation for an interview told me that the top reference in the world in a subject I care about believed in me. You should definitely hold on to this invite and go for it with everything you have. Being called for an interview means that what you can deliver what those worldly renowned scholars value. Keep your head up and double down on that. -

Hello, everybody! I don't want to make anyone more anxious, but I do think that the more information and data we have, the better. Just wanted to let you know that I recently got an email from TC saying I was selected for an interview for their Social-Organizational Psychology program. Feel free to ask anything you want to know about their timeframe from now on. This is not my first round of applications and I know that people build all possible conspiracy theories!! ? I know because I do that!!! ? Anyway, feel free to ask me anything you want. Best of success for all of us!! ???? -

Guys, just sharing my experience. I dropped out from a PhD program from another school on December 2021 and the process I saw was the program interviewing a number of students very close to the positions they have available and a positive answer coming in less than one week. Overall it is a very much straight forward model. If you got an interview, they already liked you. If you don't mess up on the interview you are accepted. I hope I have helped you somehow!! -

How is it going everyone?? I just submitted my application for the OB program at Case Western Reserve. I decided to create this topic to see if there is someone out there applying for their program so we can freak out together waiting for their answer. ? Give a shout-out if you want to talk your anxiety out! ☺️

Hi there!! Also applied for a PhD at TC but for the Social-Organizational Psychology program. Same as the most, I haven't heard anything from them so far. ? Following @thinkwisely cue, I believe it is good to know from others who are in kind of the same boat as I am but the bad side is this limbo when you hear that other people are being called for calls or interviews and we have nothing. ? @thinkwisely I do not know if that will help you but you are not alone!! ✊ I am also here anxious with you if that helps!! ? One question to you guys, was your deadline also December 1st??
