It is worth saying that the last page of the Vanier results document says "our records show that you were awarded CGS-D, you should choose one to keep"
I applied to both Vanier and CGS-D and gotten both, I wasn't expecting CGS-D to come out this early either. The fact that I heard from both within 24 hours may mean that we were told of our CGS-D result to decline it if we choose to and let others get that opportunity. Interesting theory
I don't think I've seen an April 16th date anywhere, I've only seen mid-April on the home page and early April on the overview page. If it's early to mid April, it might come out this week!
I got my results and ranking from my university when I was nominated, but that was back in October.
Hey,
The Vanier Scholarship results are expected to be released in about two weeks, but no official date has been specified yet. Since many of us are eagerly waiting, I’m starting this thread for discussion, updates, and sharing results when they start coming in!
If you hear anything about the release date or receive a notification on ResearchNet, feel free to share your experience here.
Good luck to all applicants!
Hi all,
I am currently a master's student, and I am planning on defending in June 2023. Everything is on track and going great, and I start a PhD program at McGill university in September 2023.
The problem is that my graduation date will be in mid October, after the start of the PhD. Will that be a problem? I have emailed McGill admission but they haven't responded yet (been about a month and a bit) and figured I'd ask here since application to graduation deadline from my university is approaching.
thank you!
