I can't really think of any reason why I had a terrible cycle except my subpar GRE scores (both above 160) and me having almost no connection to the US academia. I guess I'll try my chances yet again. Thank you for the uplifting words though!

This is my second cycle, so my prospects don't look that good. But who knows what the future will bring? Thank you for the kind message. I got a mail from the graduate school directing me to the application page. Your case might be a waitlist since some schools did not announce their waitlist candidates until later.

Columbia announced the rest of the results. Mine is a rejection, which makes almost all of my applications rejections... Tough luck.

Columbia releases the rest of the results a week after they announce acceptances. I hope they will release the results today or tomorrow, so that we will finally learn whether if we got a wait list or rejection.

I presume from these results that Harvard is still calling the applicants one by one.

The long wait will be over for many of us this month, so let's enjoy the final days of constantly checking our e-mails!

I presume that the department calls from Harvard only come to the students who are resided in the States?

Someone claims that they received a phone call from Harvard, might be a fake post but still a heads up.

From the previous cycles (at least according to what is recorded on GradCafe), it seems that they release the rejects and the wait lists a week after. It would be safe to assume it as a rejection, but there is still hope that it can be a wait list.

I haven't seen any portal updates, so probably an email.

Anyone who heard back from MIT IR/Security Studies?

Got my first reject from WUSTL. Disappointing since I thought I drew lessons from my first application cycle. I am afraid this cycle might be fruitless, too, especially when the remaining schools are way more competitive.

Haven't heard anything from WUSTL, Duke, and UWM yet. Still hopeful about WUSTL (since the only acceptances I have seen were from CP so far), but I gave up on the rest. Kind of disheartening since it is my second application cycle. Hope my remaining three will bring some fruitful results.

Hello everyone. Hope we can all hang in there in this turbulent month. I also applied to Duke and UWM and have not received any interview emails (IR-focus). I will wait for another week, but I think, it is safe to assume that I got rejected by both.
