I visited Cornell for sculpture and would highly advise you don’t attend!! The program is a mess - the students told me they can’t get access to sculpture equipment because a tenured professor who won’t leave takes up the entire space (something I witnessed) and there are professors who make sexist and inappropriate comments to women’s work. I’m sure in time they can figure out a proper system as they recently acquired the old dean from Hunter (or something like that) and they have money to spare but I personally would not recommend spending your time in an MFA there from what I heard and saw
Hi All! I hope the interview process is going well for everyone! I just received an interview request for MICA Sculpture that will take place Feb 13/14. Still waiting to hear from 6 other schools (RISD, VCU, Columbia, UCLA, CalArts, Hunter) and I have my acceptance to Ohio State
I got accepted into Ohio State University for sculpture MFA 2023 start a few days ago which is super exciting! I’m hoping I’ll get some additional interviews and offers so I’ll have a choice but none the less great news that I was not expecting to hear for months
Hey guys! I've been following along but decided to pop in!
I have applied to 8 schools for sculpture:
MICA
RISD
CalArts
UCLA
Ohio State University
Hunter
Columbia

So far I have had an interview with Ohio State! I know it's early to be hearing back from schools but I'm super anxious ahaha
