I don't know about painting but I wrote to Columbia as well and they responded that they are still reviewing applications for the Sculpture/expanded practice program and that they are going to ask for interviews in the next couple of weeks. ? Who knows

yes for sculpture ? don't get discouraged!! they release their first picks by the end of february but you have march still since maybe some people won't accept their offer.

do you mean post interview or being contacted to interview? I interviewed on Monday and they told me it would be about two weeks to get the final desition.

I interviewed yesterday and it was a very relaxed and cordial interview. They asked for things about my work in general and about what would I want to develop in saic in particular. I was interviewed by the graduate coordinator, a student and the foundry coordinator since I applied to sculpture. I was then given time to ask questions and that was it! Pretty relaxed. Hope everyone had good interviews!

I don't think so. I think they do various rounds of inteviews in RISD and also you have the waitlist option in case anyone that gets accepted rejects their place so just wait a bit!
