I’ve heard they’ve sent out some rejections after interviewing and a few media applicants got their acceptances this past week. Still waiting for Slade after interviewing as well. Been 5 weeks lol. There’s a forum on the student room website with more Slade hopefuls posting regularly.

Ok I got an acceptance from CalArts this morning… phew

Congrats to everyone that got into CalArts. Has anyone received their rejection to CalArts MFA after interviewing? Still waiting to hear back from Slade MFA after interviewing last week and still holding a Glasgow MFA offer.

Hi. Just finished my online CalArts interview for mfa in art. It was 15 minutes they asked: why an mfa, why now. Why cal arts. What do you expect from a mfa. What I was working on right now. Asked me one question about my work specifically and that’s it. Super laid back and quick and felt comfortable.

Anyone know the format of the CalArts program in art interview format? Mine is this Thursday. I’ve been emailing and asking but so far no response. All the other interviews I’ve had have at least told me who is on the panel.

I’m in the same boat I may fly in, flights aren’t trrrible from where I am. I want to be sure I like Santa Clarita and curious to know more about the school before dropping 50k+ usd a year. had my interview with Glasgow and they were very nice and straight to business it went by super quick. They asked me to present my work to them for ten minutes. Asked why they should chose me. What artists I like. What writers I like. How I see my work changing. Why I applied to Glasgow. I didn’t do great but not terrible so I think it’s 5050

Just invited for an interview at Slade painting. Lfggg

Has anyone been rejected from RISD paint yet? Also I've applied to Yale, Columbia, Cal Arts, Slade ucl, Glasgow, and RCA. This is my fifth time applying to grad schools fml. Will keep everyone updated if i hear back from anything!!

Just got an invite email to interview at Glasgow School of Art MFA this morning. Not my first choice but really happy nonetheless
