Just posting here that I am declining the award for those next year who want to know if anyone actually declines it.

I applied with ONR under Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering.

HOLY CRAP I received it!! Now I have to choose between SMART and NDSEG... Edit: Adding that I applied to ONR under Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering.

It was $38k as of last years awards.

SMART increased their stipends to $46,000 for PhD students I wonder if NDSEG will increase theirs as well?

SMART came out! Good thing NDSEG comes out next week because you only get until April 17th to accept.

Did anyone else also apply for SMART? I am hoping they come out relatively close together. SMART is rumored to come out next Monday.

Where are y'all seeing specific time updates? Mine just has an update "2nd Round Reviews - DOD Panel" but I can't see specific times it was updated.
