I’ve been told: 1. I should only add my cumulative GPA because that’s the only one they care about. 2. If your major GPA is higher, it would be better to add your major GPA over your cumulative GPA since it’s most relevant to your program. 3. Because they already have your transcripts, GPA should be left off completely to avoid redundancy. I’d love to hear anyone’s two cents on this. My major GPA and cumulative GPA are both good and I felt it wouldn’t hurt to highlight both on my resume. However, after hearing from others, I’m not sure anymore.
