Hey there, sorry I should put more information. I applied for LeRoy E. HoffBerger, had an interview with the Program Director. On 27th Feb they sent me a message that my work would fit more in MountRoyal as they are interdisciplinary. The Program Director at MountRoyal accepted me and wants to arrange a short 10 minutes interview. By this time, I had already decided that I would go to either RISD/SAIC and wait for Yale. I didn't want to waste his time, so I ended up withdrawing. The official notification for MICA will come around Mid March, so don't worry guys.

Just received my notification for Yale, it's a rejection. I guess that's a wrap. I apply for MFA Painting, in conclusion Yale - Interviewed / Rejected RISD - Accepted SAIC - Accepted MICA - Accepted but my application was transferred to Mount Royal (interdisciplinary) Hope everybody the best

Well I was prepared to talk about the 4+4 artworks, but they ended up not asking a single question about that. It was mostly around myself (what makes you excited, expectation) and follow-up questions to my answer. They were very friendly as well. Overall I think I did alright

I read on last year forum that SAIC result came sometimes between 24-27 February. I have interview at Yale Painting/Printmaking tomorrow as well, so nervous. T__T

So that means you will have to do your interview right? or you already did it? Sorry first time going through all this process and I'm a bit confused.

It was supposed to be 6 but one was busy in the last minute so she could not be there so 5 people on the faculty interviewed me.

Mine is Painting. One tip I can give you is to study/do heavy research on your department's faculty. I did a lot of research, memorized all the key points of their CV/practice, and can link them to my practice/what I want to do in RISD and they all smile a lot when I mention that.

Hello, I had my interview with RISD on Feb 7th. This year they have 200+ applications for Painting, 36 are selected for interview and 10 admitted. The Program Director told me she wants me to know immediately so she send me an email at 3AM in Providence... I'm deeply moved by her gesture that I cry. I'm an international student apply with a Fulbright scholarship so my case might be a bit different though. I hope anyone here had an interview will soon be received the admitted email soon!

Wow I just received an acceptance email from RISD Painting in the middle of the night from the Program Director JACKIE GENDEL. So extremely grateful feeling like I want to cry.
