Aw, Albanski, I'm still rooting for you -- and for all of you. Melchior, whatever happens, at least you've already got a Cambridge admit under your belt! That's pretty darned fantastic already. I'm incredibly jealous that you already know for certain! (Very happy for you, of course ) The director of the program I applied to in the UK (apologies for the deliberate vagueness -- it's not Oxbridge, though) said I was very likely to be accepted, which is in my SOP...but nothing official has come through yet. Which means, as of right now, I have --gulp --no letter of affiliation. Anyone else in this boat? Can I basically assume a rejection, do you think? IIE had said it was okay to just send along my admissions letter when it came, but it just hasn't come through in time...
