Columbia painting interview invites have already gone out, right? Also I haven’t heard anything from SAIC painting&drawing yet after interview.

In previous years, the people in this forum figured out that if the “MFA” disappears in the phrase “2023 Painting MFA” on your Columbia slideroom account then you have been rejected. Not sure if that’s still true though

Anyone know how many people interview for SAIC’s Painting and Drawing program, and for how many places? for those of you who interviewed with SAIC this weekend, how did it go?

A friend of mine went to yale undergrad… he never met any MFA students who commuted from NYC, but knows of art history phd students who do. I think it’s because MFA students have classes 4-5 days per week whereas phd students only need to be on campus twice a week. Hope this helps!
