Waiting for waitlist decisions is killing me. At this point my job needs to know if I'm gonna be here next year and the fact that I still can't answer in APRIL is so stressful.

I declined my offer from Penn State. I hope you get off the waitlist!

On the waitlist for University of Washington!! Told I'm next in line for my field, and they've only accepted 5 students. Really really hoping it works out, UW is my top program.

University of Illinois Chicago and UC Boulder. Neither one told me if the waitlist was ranked or where my place is. Not sure if that's something I should ask when we hit March? The UIC email seemed very positive. I feel less confident about Boulder because there were a LOT of waitlist results posted as well, which has me thinking it's a longer list.

Also on two waitlists, wondering what the chances of actually getting in are.

Rejected from Boston College after interviewing in the final round and oof that was a painful one. Ended up taking a 48 hour ban from email/reddit/gradcafe over the weekend and honestly I think it was incredibly necessary. At this point I think I've been soft rejected everywhere except three schools. This process SUCKS.

Has anyone heard from Boston College? I interviewed last week and was told I'd hear back early this week.

Yes! Call from the grad director today, who was also in my interview. Official letter to follow soon via email. I wasn't told what size the incoming cohort would be or any application stats, but they are working on the same April 15 deadline as everyone else.

Got a call from Penn State asking to set up an interview! This is the first movement I've seen for my cycle, I'm so excited Any advice for PhD interviews? Not sure what kinds of questions would be asked or what they're really looking for at this stage.
