Hi , I am a final year undergrad pursuing B.Tech from a private college in India. I have 9.3 GPA, currently a SDE intern at a hyper growth database startup which will end in July 2023 (~1 yr internship), I have a paper in computer vision in a open access journal . I have done some full stack projects and have contributed to open source and have a linux schlorship for same. I also have decent grade from School (96%). I want to pursue masters in ML/Deep learning or Distributed Systems / Database design. I have very liitle knowledge about the process to apply for the same and have recently started searching my options. I have a few questions which I need to get answered before starting with the entire application process:- Which universities are best for ML/DL or Distributed System Design? I have heard of a few but am scared after looking at the the acceptance rate and the type of profiles that got accepted.(CMU, University of Maryland, NTU etc). What are some of the cheapest countries to pursue MS ? (ik Germany only). Is my profile strong enough for MS in good colleges? Should I work on it more for 2 years and then apply? Should I take a gap year, do some freelancing work/ get a job and save money to finance my Masters for 2025 or should I take a loan and do it in 2024 ? I have (~5 lakhs savings currently from my internship). I am very scared about the entire process and somehow can't find the courage to start the entire process of applying because I feel like my profile is not strong enough. Any help/words of advice would be really appreciated !!!
