Just found this thread and wanted to share that I received an offer to Carleton’s MPM Program last week.

Hey everyone! I can’t find an existing 2024 chat so I decided to start one. Has anyone else applied to Carleton’s MPM Program and hear back about a decision? I applied in late January and my status keeps changing between Recommended for assessment and Review in progress by department. Good luck to everyone on their applications!

Is anyone else in the McGill MPP interested in setting up a group chat? I had my university send official transcripts to McGill (which were delivered yesterday) and I'm curious how long it will take to update on my profile so that I can register for classes.

Hey! Do you mind me asking when you submitted your complete application and when you received a decision? I applied and remain in the "In Review" state and hope to make a decision soon.

Congrats on your offer! How did McGill notify you? Email? When did you submit your completed application if you don't mind me asking?

I'm still waiting for McGill to tell me something (anything lol!). Not sure if should email them or if that will hurt my chances of getting in.

@Kkura @gradschoolsznDo you remember what your McGill application status changed to after it was "In Review"? Did it switch to "Accepted" or something else before that?

Thank you so much. I submitted my remaining items on January 31st, so I suspect they are reviewing in batches like in past years. Hopefully this means I'll hear back by end of month. Congratulations again

Carleton is doing a much better job updating you all than McGill haha. Not sure if this is an appropriate place to ask, but what are your thoughts on working full-time while doing the MPPA/MPA/MPP? I have a good job and I'm concerned if I go back to school, I will be broke throughout and that I might not find a better job in this economy.
