I just received an email to check application portal and unexpectedly I get offered admission off the waitlist from JHU.

Got an acceptance email from UGA DrPH program. Now I need to decide where to go GWU or UGA i have over 15 years experience of program management in communicable disease control in developing countries. Appreciate it if you could give me an advice so that I could drop one of the offer and create more seats for waitlisted friends.

Very difficult to move on as I feel BUSPH aligned me with my experience and career goal.

I just received decision letter from BU and I was waitlisted. It’ hurts me a bit.

Happy for those who committed or admitted to your dream school and program. Feel the same for those who wait listed/ waiting for results/ waiting for funding confirmation. I was interviewed and waiting result from BU DrPH. I wrote an email to school admin but no response. I need to move on so I am thinking to write another email.

Receiving a rejection can be disappointing, but please know that your qualifications and dedication are admirable. Keep believing in yourself and exploring other opportunities. You are a true gem in this forum.

Does anyone here apply to DrPH program at UAB? How would you rate the school/ program compared to JHU, GWU & BU? Any insightful comments? thanks

A few updates to share GW DrPH admitted students day will be March 23 and invitation was received as in campus admitted student. Columbia DrPH - rejected 😢 BU DrPH - interviewed but no update so far. So I emailed to school admission yesterday (because I felt devastated after I was waitlisted by JHU) about the admission timeline but no response yet.

For those who were interviewed by BU for DrPH, they said the results will be out mid February, right? Or Mid March?

Got rejected by Harvard, Brown & Minnesota Not selected for interview by Georgia State University. interviewed by BU and waiting result. interviewed invite by UGA (but I know there won’t be any funding) Admission offer from GWU without funding. i am in bad shape 😥😭

DrPH - very competitive & not generous phD - so so but better than DrPH I think i got acceptance to DrPH program without funding. One of the professors I talked mentioned once that they expect DrPH candidates as working professionals and able to support the study themselves. 🥲

No interview & just rejection letter. I think this is the normal practice. Most of the schools sent out the rejection letter earlier than acceptance letter. So for those who haven’t received/ heard anything from your dream schools, it’s a good sign 😀

Got rejection letter last week. Honestly speaking, I applied just it’s easy on SOPHAS and my qualifications matches more with DrPH, not PhD 😀
