  1. you're right! my bad, for real.
  2. I am 38, completed my undergraduate BFA last year. Applied to 3 programs, accepted to 1 with generous scholarship. Sorry to hear about your "weird thing." You might want to get over it. Edited because I feel like I'm being a little bit rude, even though it was intentional: From my perspective, being in your mid-30s and pursuing graduate work (and even undergraduate work) is an advantage, not a disadvantage.
  3. Yup, got my Cranbrook (print) letter yesterday. Never heard from Tyler/Temple but Cranbrook was higher on my list, so whatever.
  4. Right on and congrats! I'm feeling positive about likely acceptance but probably won't relax until I get an official letter. I'll try to chill til next week, thanks!
  5. I think you mentioned applying to Tyler (Temple) print in a previous post, have you called them to check in on the interview status? And has anyone received a letter or acceptance from Cranbrook after the interview? Thanks, y'all. I appreciate the group support and commiseration. 😓
  6. Well, for starters I'm excited that they (Cranbrook) made quick contact and didn't make me wait around, considering how much planning is required when moving one's life across the country. Love that. Most of what I like about the program is pretty specific to my needs. The print media program emphasizes interdisciplinary, cross studio work which is what i'm looking for. And the environment encourages extreme studio focus with its isolated campus. The dept heads were super friendly and seemed genuine, kind, and like they spent time with my application. Seemed like they value their students and the success of their program.
  7. Has anyone had contact from Tyler (Temple) printmaking or Columbia printmaking departments? I applied to Cranbrook (Print Media), Columbia, and Temple. Quickly had contact from Cranbrook to set up an interview. Interview was wonderful, and I feel excited about Cranbrook. But I'm anxious to hear from Columbia and Temple - crickets. Nothing has changed on the portals. No email. It seems other departments at Temple and Columbia have started interviewing and accepting, but nothing specific for the printmaking programs.
