Thank you and congrats on Yale!! Quite a feat. What do you think made you a more successful candidate the second time around? Any insight is much appreciated. Others are welcome to answer this too!
Still waiting to see how funding unfolds, but already thinking about reapplying next year. What's the decorum for asking letter of rec providers? Is it gauche/lame to ask the same people? What have those who've applied a few rounds done? Thank you in advance
Sorry to hear 😕 Sounds like SAIC doesn't tend to offer generous financial support. Curious about what a "horrible" award looks like if you don't mind sharing. Trying to brace myself for a similar outcome.
This was for the grad art program. Don't give up just yet! This process is painful to say the least, but I believe they will continue interviewing and in some departments are still accepting apps on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. Hang in there
Congrats and thanks so much for all the helpful info! Rooting for you. I too interviewed w/ ArtCenter last week. Any word on when we'll hear back? Did they share any updates on current funding? There was talk last year or so of covering all incoming MFA tuition and then crickets....curious about where that stands if anyone knows!
