Is there a group for people who are accepted into McMaster?

Hey, Mine is the same. I reached out to them and they said that anyone who has not heard is on "waitlist 2" and that as people drop the initial waitlist you may be added to the official waitlist. So basically, you are either going to be waitlisted or declined depending on how many people decide not to accept.

For anyone still waiting to hear back from Waterloo for the 1 year program, they have a “waitlist two” which they are using as they move people off the first waitlist.

I also haven't heard from Waterloo so I emailed them and this is what they said " We are still processing MSW decisions. You should hear some news over the next couple of weeks."

Mine did before the letter got sent out, but Acorn also got changed to June 1st for me. Maybe it is dependant on the stream you are accepted into

No, I just meant that if people currently on the waitlist decline in June, they may go back to the waitlist and offer it to the next people.

The deposit for accepting your invite is due June 1st, so people will likely be declining up until that point. Once deposits are paid I suspect not many people would decline (with the exception of people who are picked from the wait list from the initial wave). Once all universities release their invites, I suspect there will be some movement on the wait list. Most unis only provide a couple weeks to respond, so people will be making decisions sooner rather than later.

I will likely be declining UofT since I got a pretty solid funding offer through McMaster, it is the Social Justice and Diversity stream I was accepted into
