Hey paintymess, For some reason, maybe dyslexia, when I read your name I was see pantymess. Then I laugh at myself.

Are you talking overall GPA or Major GPA?.. I think my cumulative was 3.5 (I did a BFA at Liberal Arts College) and for my Major 3.7. I saw on a few websites that they don't accept anything under 3.2. I remember specifically that Tyler and IUB considered GPA.

I think one or two people heard they were shortlisted for Tyler. Scolby, have people begun to receive notifications from Tyler? My status is still "Completed, Ready for Review." I'm also waiting for PAFA - maybe you and I will wind up in the same program.

I totally understand and agree with everything you stated. Although, I keep myself open with the hopes that people read more about me to get to know me. I don't really understand why anyone would apply to a school they would have negative things to say about, thats probably an indicator that they are looking at a place that does not fit them. I looked at the facebook fired posts and most of them were corporate jobs, I hope that being an artist affords us a little more freedom of speech and will than corporate america.

If they said all the materials were there then they probably had the right ones. I am being optimistic for you, perhaps it was a typo?

Received a very large, thick envelope from RISD today....it was their catalog. (ugh..sigh of let down)

I applied there too. I received an email from them a while ago saying that they will have their final decision in April.

You are the only other person I have met on here that applied to MICA low res... How did it go? I am bummed I did not get an interview. Hopefully that does mean I am completely out...
