  1. I graduated in 2005 and have been in the military since graduating. I am very nervous about going back to school. I do not think I will feel odd to be around young people because for the past 6 years I have worked with people almost 8 years younger and 15 years older than me. I thought it was weird at first to be around so many young people, but it was nice to get to know a diverse group of people. I do not think the work experience gives me a leg up because I am going from nuclear engineering to health admin. However I do believe that my time management skills are better than what they were back when I was in undergrad. But amidst all the nervousness I am 100%excited.

  2. I applied to one program MHA . I am pretty nervous because I am currently in the military (almost 6 years) and the best I could do for LORs were from my supervisors and officers so I do not know if that is enough to cut it. I am also nervous because if I am not accepted it will make changing professions much more difficult as the rate I am currently in is engineering based and I want to switch to health based.

  3. A little background: I have a B.S. in Community Health administration and planning, I am in the US Navy and I work as an Electrical Enginneer (more or less). I will have completed 6 years by next fall term. I want to apply for a Master's in Health Administration.

My question is how am I supposed to write a resume of relevant work experience when I spent the last 5 years as an electrician? I can not omit the resume because it is part of the package, but I also want to show that I can follow directions and send in the proper material. I also do not know if I should contact the school and inform them or not.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
