  1. Hi! I would definitely look into Indiana University's journalism school (one of the best in the country!) and their media studies (through communication and culture and telecommunications). I'm currently in my undergrad here, and know these programs are excellent. The professors are really top notch. They also have excellent production facilities in the Telecommunications dept if you are interested in getting technical! Hope that helps! Chelsey
  2. Hi all - I'm finishing up my BA in Film/TV production at IU with an emphasis on design and production. I'm currently applying to several grad programs for Fall '11 - USC Cinematic Arts: Producer's program, UCLA's producer programs, and IU's Telecommunications Production program. I haven't seen too many posts about production programs in the forum, mostly only critical studies in media theory. I was wondering if anyone had any insight to these or any other MA/MFA film/tv production programs. I'm also considering a less academic program at IAFT - The International Academy for Film and TV in Cebu, Philippines. They have an advanced filmmakers program I'm interested in. At this point, I'm trying to make the best decision about which of these school would be better suited, so if anyone has a friend, relative or has personally been through one of these programs (or a similar one) or has any recommendations on what to look for when I visit/interview, please let me know!! There's only so much info you can get from a website! Thanks in advance Chelsey
