Hi everyone, below is my short background description: B.S. in Biology GPA 3.73 Major GPA 3.72 GRE V450, Q 800, AW 3. GRE subject 63% Work in my professor's research lab for 3 years (But no publication) Got two scholarships International student, but finished B.S in the U.S. I am interested in applying to PhD programs in Biology/ Biochemistry this year (Fall 2010 application season). However, I don't know whether my terrible GRE scores will hurt me a lot in applying to the PhD programs. Also, this terrible score make it hard for me to choose between schools. I don't really know how I should pick schools now, since most of the top ones require something like 1400+4 score. Should I retake my GRE? Where should I apply for? I really appreciate your advice! I mailed my scores to UC Davis, UC Irvine and UCSF. Is there any chance I can get into these schools? Thank you all in advance!
