Hello guys, Congratulations to all selected applicants and courage and best wishes in your next endeavors for those not selected at this time. I received same email. They ask me to submit a conflict of interest form. Same for you? All the best,

That's so sad to read bro. All this time they kept the P2 position on, I was somehow sure that you passed it. I'm sorry man 😔. There are many roads to Rome, never forget this. Thank you

Hello sir, I am also still in the process, devex wrote to me few days ago to confirm that have gotten feedback form all my 3 references and that they have received official confirmation from my university. The added that they will get in touch with me in case further information is needed. The process will be closed on 27th of November. We only cross fingers and wait at this point.

I was interviewed for P2. Yeah I applied only for P2 but I said I would like to be considered for higher levels. According to what I have read, the panel will advocate at the end if I'm worth higher levels or not.

Sorry bro, P2 is okay to start, the most important is to get in there and start making the impact you want to make serving humanity. And as time goes, you will be able to climb up in the ranks.

Okay, that's great, quick response form the university releases some pressure 😊 Not yet for me, I guess that's because they have first to determine which degree to verify. Anyway if they have decided to verify my MSc degree obtained from a University where professional email addresses are not in use, I guess I won't see any email and in that case I don't know how they will proceed with the verification, maybe through a physical correspondence.

Did you yet receive any notification from them sending mail to your university or did any of your references tell you if she/he was contacted by devex? Nothing form my side so far

Thank you bro I wish you have passed it. 2months+ remaining in their process time-frame, I think everything is possible.

Hello I did also receive same email asking for info for background checks, mine was due on 27th of September. I have now provided them with the requirements but I think they are still gathering infos from candidates, have not yet started contacting references nor universities. They said they will copy the candidates when emailing the universities. Thing is I have multiple degrees, all from UNESCO-recognized institutions but 2 out of 3 universities I have attended don't use professional email addresses 🙈. So for those universities, I have included their physical addresses, I hope that won't hurt in any way. Gud luck guys🤞

Hello, Well it was not bad I guess 😊 Common protocol setting, friendly panel members... They asked questions about motivation, teamwork, communication skills, why are you the best candidate, organisation skills. I was asked 5 competency based questions, with so many follow up questions but that depends on your answers I guess

Okay thank you, I got you know. I think I was not really separating skills from competencies. I have googled and their so many competencies and they can ask questions on any of them 😊. Thank you for the insights, I appreciate it.

Thank you very much for your insightful explanation. With this I think I will better prepare for my upcoming interview. Through the job description is isolated 3 competencies I think: Professionalism-mobility-diversity, teamwork-work under supervision, organizing and planning skills. I will practice build examples with regrads to the other agencies core competencies and hopefully things fall in my what I have prepared. I hope your interview went well and I wish good luck for the outcome.
