Hi guys!! Congratulations to everyone on getting into their dream schools. I was wondering out of everyone who applied and got into McMaster are not planning on accepting their McMaster offers!? Thank you
I dont think I'll accept Mac as I am planning on accepting my UofT offer! Best of luck !
Also if anyone else is accepting UofT feel free to send me a message so we can get to know each other!

Is anyone else who applied to Canadian schools applying with a sub gpa of 3.75!? I thought it was decent until Mcmasters cut off was 3.82.
How do you know what the cut-off was?
And I find this post helpful when stressing about my GPA, its from earlier this year: " I got immediately rejected from Mac (my sGPA was too low to even get an interview) yet I got an acceptance from U of T April 1st. I also got 3 waitlists, McGill, Western and Dal, yet I only got off the waitlist for Dal. There was NO way for me to have predicted these results if I compared my sGPA to other people I assure you." Just basically saying try not to focus on your GPA as its hard to tell what schools are looking for!

amazing congrats! may i ask if your dal portal was updated and had the reference letter and other info filled out? i had to contact the admissions department about my admissions portal as it is still blank and only has the date i paid the fee on there (even though I submitted everything ahead of the due date). just wondering if this is the same for anyone else?
I got an offer a few days ago by email and my online application still says "incomplete items outstanding". It doesn't say anything about an offer online

how are folks preparing for the MMI? Does anyone have any insight on previous years/what kind of questions to expect?

I don't think there has been anything yet. The website says end of February. When I applied last year we got the decision emails on February 22nd so I'm thinking we may hear next week!
Do you get notified if you don't receive an interview/don't make the cutoff?

they’re out! go to document tracking when you log in and scroll down . Who’s starting the MMI discord?
What do you think the cutoff will be?

sgpa's are posted on ORPAS under document tracking
Is it the GPA at the bottom of the list of all the courses or the one at the top where it says overall GPA? May be a silly question but I'm confused!

hey everyone good luck on all your applications! I'm still waiting for ORPAS to receive my transcripts from Dalhousie. I've had them sent twice now and they've never received them through the mail while ORPAs have received all my other transcripts from my other universities. I'm thinking of asking them to email them to ORPAS, does anyone know what email to use? has anyone had to email them their transcripts?
Hey! I was waiting months for my Dal transcripts to be sent so I finally called and they said I hadn't paid for it yet (such a dumb mistake on my end) - I didn't realize you have to call to pay on the phone to complete the transcript request. I ended up just using MyCreds which was so quick and easy. Hope this helps!

Honestly it's because of location and learning style! I do well in lecture-type learning that UofT uses - Mac has the self directed learning approach and I have a hard time picturing myself in that environment so its easier for me to envision myself at uoft! I also like downtown Toronto more than Hamilton and ill be commuting so taking the train will be easier for me:)
do what are you both leaning towards?
