I've been weighing my offers for a month but I honestly still don't know which to choose. Here are some background as well as pros and cons: CU QMSS Pros: Best location; great flexibility; helpful director; nice career/phd outcomes. Cons: Slightly worried about the reputation of Columbia's graduate programs; courses might not be that in-depth (?); dubious career service UCLA MQE Pros: Also great location; nice combination of econ & data science; coursework seems challenging; ample applied projects/other hands-on opportunities. Cons: seems that most students did not secure jobs in the States (I'm an international planning to work in the US after graduation); bigger class size & fewer resources for individual students; public schooling, maybe less supportive in comparison (?) That being said, both programs are really good in general, which makes it even harder for me to decide. Any advice/insider experience on the programs is hugely appreciated

Got into qmss and mqe as well and still have no clue how to choose. Looking forward to see everyone's opinion as well. Congratulations on getting these offers!
