    An update on my application process so far in Linguistics program (subfield: psycholinguistics): University of Washington (No news; deadline: dec 16th)--> My honest guess = silent rejection University of Gerogia (No news: deadline: Jan 1st) University of Utah (No news: deadline: Jan 1oth) SUNY at Buffalo: admission with funding 💜 University of California, Santa Cruz (waitlisted; we placed you very high ...) 😔 Ohio State University; waitlisted University of South Carolina: waitlisted (I guess I shouldn't have applied to a college which waived the application fee for everyone. Thus, the competition was stiff.) Michigan State University: rejected University of Florida: admission without funding.

    The University of California Santa Cruz said that they will inform me about their decision in 1 or 2 months. Their interview is an ongoing process, I guess. Therefore, wait to see what happens. Wish you the best!

    Hello, I applied to Michigan State University for Lingusitics program and I have not recieved any emails yet! Can I ask you when you received an email about the interview and how it went? Did they mention when they will send out the results? University at Buffalo and University of California Santa Cruz: interviewed MSU, UW, OSU, UF, UG, UT,USC (south carolina) under review

    Well got two inerviews from Buffalo and Santa Cruz. Waiting for the response! The interview for UCSC went smoothly. It was rather a friendly conversation. The meeting with Buffalo was more formal and they asked more questions. I applied to other universities. No rejection or no acceptance so far! My dealines varied from Dec 1st to Jan 10th. I was wondering if anyone who applied to OSU got an interview! I have seen two results at gradcafe (one acceptance and one rejection!).
