Hi guys just wanted to post that I recieved my first rejection from JHU for a PhD Epidemiology. I had a feeling this was coming and as a MD native a small part of me wanted to be in Bmore but the majority of me did not because the program was not a great fit for me. I knew going in there was not an advisor doing exactly what I wanted so I had a feeling this would be the outcome. Still have hope for the other schools! Honestly I am happy to have just heard SOMETHING because the silent wait was killing me.
Hi all! I have applied to Harvard, BU, Brown, UIC, JHU, and UMich for a PhD in Epi. I have not heard anything from any of the schools about interviews. I am wondering at what point I start to take the silence and lack of interviews as a rejection. Is it still early or is that just wishful thinking.
I applied to the PhD in Epi and got an email basically saying that they are entering stage 2 of the application review but it seem like it was specifically for the Epi Phd applicants. Which track did you apply to?
I applied to Hopkins, Brown, BU, Harvard, Michigan, and UIC for a PhD in Epi. I got an email from Hopkins saying interview offers are being extended but I have not recieved one but I have heard that others have (CONGRATS!!!). Has anyone heard anything from any of these schools?
