It’s all good! I’ll likely commit to Hopkins I try not to complain. Heard from them this morning via email from the epi chair.

I have felt this too, ikigai. Someone wise once told me “Give yourself the patience and grace you would give a best friend.” I’m currently on my way to the spa with a book to just chill out. This process is incredibly trying on the mind, body, and soul, but you’re doing great.

Yeah, I do agree they would likely know about decisions. Let me know what they say- I’m about to f/ up with the academic coordinator and a faculty member on it. She did say mid February and we are at that point. No news is good news hopefully

Did the academic coordinator respond to your initial follow up? I was thinking to follow up today too. But, I was thinking of reaching out to the professors that interviewed me lol

hi! stipend is 27,144 for the first two years but will increase if NIH increases their level. The other two years will require funding via teaching fellowship awards, research assistantships, positions on institutional and faculty training grants, and an individual NRSA.

I applied to general track but I think qantu did cancer. I got an email from the faculty but my admissions decision is not on the portal. It may be by track then the next couple days we will get it on the portal. In my email, they provided all funding details as well including an in person visit for March 7th. I’m going to manifest everyone get into the program of their dreams! I don’t know you personally but I do know the commitment to public health and you’ll do wonders for the world. Take deep breaths, your time is just beginning!!

I just got into Hopkins Epi for my PhD!!! Ugly cried for a while

Did you hear about this in the session with the dean? Or, a private interview with her? I don’t remember at all hearing the waitlist comment nor decisions being released last week. I could take one for the team and ask another slightly leading question to the academic coordinator😂

is anyone just a little delulu (like me) when looking at the admissions results page? I saw a couple acceptances for Brown Epi on that page but… are they real.. are they not? The academic coordinator said they typically release decisions mid February when I emailed her a while back. has anyone gotten a decision after interviewing for the program?

Thank you! Yes, I know Hopkins consistently sends out results mid Feb/ that’s what they said in the interview. But, I’ve heard of other programs saying that but sending out sooner randomly aka Brown. 😑

Anyone who applied to Brown, Harvard, or Hopkins Epi hear back after the interview? I just got into UNC today! I applied for the pharmacoepi track, then methods I believe.
