  1. I submitted the day of! I don't think the day/time you submit will be a determining factor in your application, unless you miss the deadline lol
  2. They come out in waves! In the fall 2023 cohort on grad cafe last year were getting offers sporadically if I remember correctly. Don't panic until mid April!! You got this im rooting for you ❤️
  3. Glad to help always and its so nice to connect with another student!! See you on campus 🥰
  4. No problem 😊 I did look around the website and booklets for some extra information on declaring streams but I haven't found any information beyond the fact that we declare in second sem and then have to take the courses required for each stream. I did read that placements in healthcare settings are extremely competitive so im assuming students who want to pursue mental health and health or gerontology might not always a secure a placement in their desired setting. I didn't apply to any other MSW program lol so I had put all my eggs in one basket with UofT 💀 so unfortunately I don't know much about other programs except York! Imma just say that UofT is the number one school for MSW in Canada and is in the top 10 in the entire world so we're the school prominent institutions turn to when looking for new grads to hire! And if you want the clinical training and are willing to pass on a masters thesis then its a safe choice for sure ❤️ Best of luck making your decision though and congrats again to you too 🥰
  5. Hey!! Looking forward to seeing you on campus if you're accepting the offer It was but for 2-year applicants it doesn't matter what we declare. We don't declare a stream until second semester of the program so that comes later.
  6. Thank youu!! The Children and Families stream
  7. Thank you so much! My last initial is K
  8. Yes! It shows the invited status with a $500 admission deposit due
  9. I also just checked because of your post!!!! I was also invited 😭 CONGRATS TO US!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Anyone know how many applicants UofT had this year? Or specifically how many non-bsw applicants? I think I've read that they accept around 145 people each year but idk how accurate that is.
  11. I don't think I can survive this wait 🫠 Congrats again!!!!
  12. Omg congrats to everyone who got into Uoft!!! Are you all advanced standing applicants??
  13. My god thats crazy 😭 I knew Carleton was competitive but I didn't know the cohorts were that small. I hope you squeeze in!!! ❤️
  14. So true! Its already mid feb 😭 Best of luck to you too! We got this ❤️
  15. Oh my 😭 I haven't heard anything but now I am horrified lol I thought we would be hearing back in late March 🫠
  16. Lol you're so real for this 🤣 did 2-year applicants start hearing at that time too? I know advanced standing applicants start to hear back in feb so would potential 2-year app rejections go out around that time too?
  17. Me too!! I'm so anxious idk how to cope after applying to the 2-year program. Advanced standing applicants hear back first 😭
  18. Thank you so much for the reassurance ❤️ Manifesting the same for you! Carleton is an amazing choice, best of luck to you as well 🥰
  19. Hi all, I am graduating with a BA in psych in April 2024. I applied to the 2-year MSW program at UofT and I am so nervous. Feb/March needs to come around ASAP!! After speaking to people in the program and others who have applied and got accepted, waitlisted, etc I am so anxious. Some have said that UofT loves research experience which made me hopeful since I don't have as much experience as other applicants, but someone who read my personal statement said it was strong and if I do get rejected its probably due to my lack of experience. Currently acting as if I got an acceptance already and began planning around it as a form of manifestation 😭 Sending good vibes to all of you who applied this cycle!! See you all in Feb/Mar 🫡 My stats: 3.7 GPA, ~ 2500 hours in social work related experience (research, paid, and volunteer), thesis project, lots of social justice and advocacy volunteer experience and student leadership on campus
