  1. I don’t know about Notre Dame. There are just a couple of posts in different dates. In their website they say the decisions are released late February, so it should be this week.
  2. Here https://politicalscience.nd.edu/graduate-program/admission-and-financial-aid/frequently-asked-questions/ In the Admissions Decisions section
  3. I’m also waiting. Today I read their applications page; and it says that the decisions will be made late February.
  4. I am wondering about Notre Dame. They sent some decisions but not all of them…
  5. I will be turning 35 by the beginning of the program. I have a masters and a JD; worked in politics and international organizations. Since I completed high school I wanted to pursue a career as a scholar in law/political science, but life got in the middle (mom got sick and the bill was huge; needed to contribute financially with my family). I am at a point where sometimes I got the voice saying I’m too old for this; but at the same time I am enjoying the fact I will be able to do something I have been postponing for a long time. Also, the programs I got into are willing to recognize previous coursework to some extent to hopefully it will be somewhere between 4-5 years to complete the program. ☺️
  6. Tough day, also got a rejection from UChicago, I thought I had a really good fit. Congratulations to those accepted!
  7. Disclaimer: "this is not tax orientation at all" 😅 International students are taxed differently at a higher rate; at least until you are in the "resident for tax purposes" category (you can find the test that allows you to identify this). And yes, it is also so different to compare stipends based on costs of living. I believe housing is one of the key components; in my case I studied at UChicago in Chicago's south side, and the cost of living there is way different from say New York or San Francisco.
  8. I see some results coming out from UChicago! I wonder if all the acceptances will be sent today
  9. Yes! I am almost sure there were a couple of posts around pages 19-22. I am still waiting for Notre Dame, UChicago and Michigan Ann Arbor. I hope we get news soon
  10. Hi! Also got a rejection from Northwestern, and I am also accepted in UWM, comp pol field!
  11. Hi! I am also an international applicant for Political Sci/Comp Pol in Notre Dame. I have been in contact with a couple of professors before applying, but for now nothing such as a formal interview. I believe they haven't sent anything yet.
