If you're talking about the interdisciplinary program at the Joukowsky, I am going to the prospective weekend! I did get interviewed, once by POI individually who is not on campus, and then the other time I had a zoom call with several other professors.

I'm not sure if you're referring to someone else's post but I received an offer from IPAMAA via an email from a professor! He said they only accepted 4 students this year.

Thank you so much for your response! That makes a lot of sense, I suppose part of the trip is for prospective candidates to see the campus as well. So far the professors have been understanding and have kindly offered Zoom interviews instead.

If anyone could advise it would be much appreciated: I’ve been invited to a campus visit in one week that falls in the middle of a professional commitment I have already made, and it would be a 15 hour flight from where I am now. Will not going and instead doing zoom interviews be really frowned on? I’m stressed about finding a way to make it work. Also, how many people are typically invited for visits when it’s not an official acceptance visit? Any input would be lovely, I’m a bit at a loss!

Hey I also haven’t heard back from Cornell and they said that it might take two weeks to get info out, so it’s probably not out yet 🙂

I have an interview at U Chicago, but I applied to the Anthropology department (archaeology subfield), so I can’t speak to the Classics department ! I don’t know if that responds to your question or not! Good luck in any case 🙂

Hey, just had an interview in the department for the Art and Archaeology concentration! Was with the chair and he said that they interview by concentration and then submit their choices to a department-wide discussion that starts as early as tomorrow apparently. I feel you on the anxiety, best of luck to you 🙂
