This is my first contact with them outside of my conversations with faculty. And yeah, it seems late. I need to travel a lot this month to other campuses, so I wonder what they're thinking since the commitment date is quickly approaching.
Austin's decisions came out last month. I'm unsure if they plan on doing more acceptances since they have a set waitlist, which a few others and I are on. Wishing you luck with your other applications.
Has anyone been accepted to UT Austin and is planning on differing admissions? I'm on the waitlist, and a few faculty are telling me to wait on accepting admissions elsewhere in hopes of finding a place for me at UT Austin before the April 15th deadline. I wonder if they're being sincere in finding me a placement or blowing smoke up my, you know what. . . .
I'm not sure when to expect a result from them. However, I did get an email last week asking for copies of my official transcripts to be sent to the director of graduate admissions. One other person posted here that they were asked the same. I'm hoping to hear something this week or next.
Is anyone claiming Notre Dame acceptance? I find it bizarre that only one person seems to have claimed acceptance on here when I know several individuals who have applied, including myself with no results.
Wondering why the placement director at UCLA asked me to urgently send them my official transcripts? Wisconsin and New Mexico, where I've been offered admissions, asked if I accepted enrollment that I would be required to send them official copies. I hope I'm being considered here, it would be a perfect fit, in my opinion.
