Northwestern MTS has already sent out their offers

It seems that UMich only accepts 5 doctoral student this year, and they already have a five-people list. But if one of them reject the offer, you will also have the chance. (By the way I have get rejection from UMich, they accept according to track)

There is an acceptance now! I guess I will receive rejection next week. So sad.

Has anyone heard about UPenn? By the way, yesterday I received an email from Columbia, asking me if I am interested in their MA program, even though I didn't choose second option-MA button when I submitted my PhD application.

It seems next week according to past years.

Thank you. Yes, there was an option for second choice-MA when filling the application. But I didn't choose because there were some material problems. I agree with you that they may transfer me to MA even though I did't choose it.

Hi, my research interests are political communication and computational social science. Just heard that NYU sent out 35 offers this year. I am so sad! Because I thought I was a strong fit for NYU CSMaP. However I have to admit I do not have academic degrees in political science. I am really depressed after knowing that NYU sent so many offers! 35? I think it's crazy.

Hi! If you applied for Mass Comm- Life Science Comm, then you should see accept/ reject from you portal. If you applied for Mass Comm- Journalism (just as me), I heard that some applicants have already received email of conversation invitation (which = accepted). My portal shows my application is still in review without rejection.

Hi! I am also an international student whose research interests are political communication and computational social science. I think this year is tough for pol comm applicants (especially me😂)! I have applied for OSU and Wisconsin, but both are still in review/ pending when other applicants have already received offers. I still don't know what's wrong. I thought Wisconsin was a strong fit for me.
