USF acceptances for round 1 just went out I believe. I just received an email at 1150 ET

Sure thing. They asked about public health work experience, research interest and future career interests. They asked about MPH courses and personality. I think they are really trying to see if you are a good fit for the program, so I encourage you to be yourself! @sp05 and @dreamland_83 anything else to add?

I interviewed back in Jan and was accepted.

Tulane rejection received

Hello, I think 3 of us received an email that we were part of interview round 1 (I think there are 3). They sent us interview questions that were due 2/15. They would be reviewed 2/20-3/1, and they would reach out for an interview after 3/1. If we don't get an interview request, we will get notified via SOPHAS that we were rejected.

I think we will hear early next week. Nothing to back that up, lol! Would be nice to hear from Tulane and JHU at the same time. Don’t think it’ll work out that way though.

He suggested being aspirational, what would I do with the degree. The year prior I included some interest in management which is why I was denied, I didn’t fit squarely in one dept.

Yes that’s the one I applied to. Happy to answer any questions you have that I may have answers to. I worked with one of the admissions professors on my application for this year since I applied last year and was rejected.

Yes it is. I started this program in 2019 but dropped out because their schedule is in person classes during the work day. I couldn’t do that with my job at the time. Now it’s slightly more flexible (teacher dependent) post Covid but it still is unfriendly to full time working professionals.
