Okay, I re-read the email. I should have paid better attention. They will email us 3 questions and they want a written response by Friday. Nothing about scheduling an interview at this point. For the first round of the interview process, you will be contacted tomorrow, Wednesday, February 14 and asked to provide written responses to three questions, within a 48 hour timeframe. Please be prepared for this next step in the admissions process.

January took forever and February is flying by. Only two more weeks till March! I asked Tulane admissions when the DrPh should hear about decisions, this was the response: As it stands, we anticipate all DrPH decisions for the Fall 2024 term to be rendered sometime in March. Given the amount of applications, I would speculate late March.

I did apply last year to the management track, they rejected me and said I should do behavioral track. I haven’t heard from them if they have everything needed for my application and I’ve reached out twice. I did my MPH with them, started my DrPh with them in 2019 but dropped out because it wouldn’t work with my work schedule. I think they are really looking for full time students that support professor research, and I’m looking for more executive format.

I’ve heard of one person getting an interview with JHU but everyone seems to think that’s not the norm. Sounds like decisions are posted March 1. USF, haven’t heard anything but was told to at they do 3 rounds of interviews with cuts after each round, and final decisions go out on April. I haven’t heard that confirmed by anyone else though, so I’m not sure.

I’m trying to find current students of the IU program to get their perspective (kind of difficult!). I like the IU program (cohort based, some on campus networking but mostly remote, etc.) but I’m worried about their name recognition in the field as compared to some others I applied to (namely JHU and Tulane). So, still considering my options but I think I will accept purely based on the timing of it all.

I replied but can’t see it, so sorry if this posts twice (I really dislike this platform!!) the interview went over current work and leadership roles, MPH experience and courses, public health interests, who I think is responsible for resolving public health issues, where I want to go with my career, my collaboration style, etc. It was more trying to get to know me, so be yourself and I’m sure you’ll do great.

Hi All! IU DrPh global public health - interviewed dec 20, accepted Jan 19th. I haven’t seen anyone else asking about this program, lol, so wondering if I’m missing something. Tulane DrPh Leadership Advocacy Equity - no response JHU DrPh - no response (portal says application under review) University of South Florida DrPh Advanced Practice Leadership - no response (also don’t see anyone else asking about this program 👀)
