I received a phone call from RISD today on my acceptance to the MFA painting program! And I was talking with my friend who is currently a 1st year MFA painting student, it seems that RISD usually gives initial acceptance notifications over a phone call. (so a good thing to know is do not just turn off calls from unknown numbers assuming it is spam 😂 )

Just got an acceptance email from Tyler (painting) today. And it seems that they are inviting ppl to visit the department starting in late Feb.

Not directly related to school application, did anyone hear back on their FAFSA form? Mine still shows 'In Review' after submission on Jan 8. I know this year they are doing things a little differently, but I thought somewhere mentioned that they should be processing the forms in late Jan? Wondering if anyone here got their FAFSA form 'Processed'?

Okay... So I JUST got the RISD interview email 10 mins ago I scheduled for Jan 29 interview. I was pretty much giving up hope when I saw ppl already got interview emails last week, but it seems that it took really long for them to send these interview emails...
