I actually heard back from them on the Tuesday, I just didn't post until Wednesday. A professor emailed me in the morning, and the portal was updated later that day. And yeah, these things are hard to predict.

Sure, I interviewed (in-person at the recruitment weekend) for PCRL. I'm not an international student.

I'm also track 3. I'm still waiting on a few schools, and BU is probably not my top choice out of those. So there's a good chance my spot will open up. Good luck @Fnu95!

Hi all, I'm new to this, but I thought I'd share what's going on for me. I'm a big fan of information sharing whenever possible since we are real people who've got real lives to plan for-- spouses, kids, homes, cities, jobs, congregations etc-- real stuff that takes time to plan for! And since the schools aren't always great about treating us as such. So, I got a hard no from BC and PTS (very timely, thanks guys); interviewed with Emory, Duke ThD, Yale, and BU; am waitlisted at Duke PhD and Duke ThD, and have heard not a word from anyone else. Also, an encouragement: there will always be opportunities to read and teach and write, and even if this particular circus doesn't pan out, there are many good ways to be a nerd. xoxo, Shoop
