Who has an interview with Saic today??
-
I just got off mine with Yale sculpture... here is how it went. I got asked those same questions, and I think I did well and got to ask all of my questions. they were rambling for a while after I asked my questions, which to me was good that they were engaged enough to elaborate on both Aki and Martin. I got to have a dialogue with them, and it felt like they were all cool. We were all laughing after I asked my last question, which is a good sign to me, at least. let's see what March brings.

what is the structure of your Yale interview? mine is Friday. Do you mind giving feedback on Thursday after about how it went and what they asked?
-
What question did they ask you? BU specifically? base on you being recently out of undergrad

Anyone interviewing with S.A.I.C. have any information on the interview process? My interview is this Saturday, prepping for the sculpture and photo department.

their rejection does not reflect your ambition, your plans, or your worth. you are capable and whole. remain sold through this progress let it grow you rather than slow you down.

Yes, when I was asking questions, I opened my notes.

I had my interview with Columbia Photo yesterday in person. I feel as if it went well. There were only two professors and one alumni in the room. They asked the basic questions, and then I had some really good questions for them. I figure the interview went well, given when they asked me one question, I answered two, which smoothed out the interview; They were taking notes, and I had my notes and gave them book references. I feel like I got it, but the only thing that threw me off was that they were not engaged with neighboring communities; the program is very student-driven, which is like every grad program. Nevertheless, if you were in NYC, how aren't you connected to any communities if it is a hub of immigrants? For everyone, make sure you ask questions that will better you. These folks will profit from you, so consider what serves you and your practice. Research faculty, and think of what you can learn from them and how they can challenge you.

I just got an interview with VCU for February 26 @6-6:30 with faculty which they named and several students. And it was in sculpture. Thank God that was all the school I applied for just 4 and all give me an interview. Now I just gotta nail these interviews.
