Ceramics. I received package on last Friday.

Has anyone been accepted to Cranbrook? I'm curious if anyone has ever tried negotiation for more scholarship.

I also didn't receive any financial information with my package from SAIC. I was assuming there's no scholarship included.... Additionally, I've been waitlisted for RISD.

The interview went well, I think. It lasted about 20 minutes with three interviewers, and they seemed interested in my work (we dove into my portfolio right from the start). Then they asked quite a few questions about adaptation, such as if I've ever been to New York and if I'm familiar with living in a big city. I also inquired about the main materials current students are using and alumni's trajectories, and they seemed eager to provide detailed answers. They mentioned it would take a few weeks since they've just started the interviews. However, they also said to reach out if I need to know the results earlier!

I sent email to the faculty with whom I had a call, and she told me they would send out letters by this week (maybe on Friday, I guess).

Did anyone get official letter from SAIC ceramics? I got a phone call about unofficial acceptance on Friday, but still no official letter...

I mainly looked at U.S. news rankings. However, I see them more as a reference rather than a crucial factor in deciding on graduate school. Additionally, I'm also reviewing the current students' work at that school, but what I prioritize the most is the school's curriculum and educational direction.

I got 2 official acceptance and 2 unofficial acceptance so far. I'm searching (again) for the ranking of the department I applied for (which is Ceramic), and also comparing it by looking at the school's curriculum, location, graduates, etc. And I'm currently in another country, so I'm doing a general survey on dorm or local housing costs and living expenses.

I have mine on 3/5.

Just got rejection from Alfred ceramics

I was there, but I didn't write that down either..

Just had mine with SAIC ceramics! There were 2 committees and atmosphere was pretty good. I interviewed for 25 minutes, they asked me about my portfolio and some general questions. (why SAIC, what are my influences..) They were friendly and seemed very much interested in my works. They told me the decision will be on next 3-4 weeks.. Now all I have to do is be patient and wait for decision!

Yeah.. seems like it. I guess we just have to wait for updates?
