why do schools wait so long to send rejections? its like bruh I know I didnt get in just send me the official rejection already

Incredible! That was the only school I applied to, so my MFA dreams come to an end today! South Bend is a magical place, if you get in would definitely say go there! It is nice to have closure so I can stop checking this forum every hour! Good luck to everyone else in your processes! I will see you all next year!

Congrats to all those who are waitlisted and accepted! That's awesome. It is my first year applying to writing programs and I only applied to one school so I am pretty stress free at the moment. Great to finally see the anxiety on the forum reduce a little bit with all the news. My approach to the process this year is one of learning, if I do not get in (likely), I will be much better prepared and focused for next years cycle! Remember life is very long, especially for all those in your early twenties, you have soooo much time to improve and get into that dream program!

Anyone have any insight on when Notre Dame will notify or if they interview?

Been lurking for a little while but saw this and figured I would chime in. If you are looking for private school teaching jobs, check out this website: https://careers.nais.org/jobseekers/ it is an excellent tool for finding that kind of work. I got multiple interviews and ended up getting hired at an all girls school a few years ago. Hope you don't need this info though because you get in to your dream program!
