  1. Nothing new today on the spreadsheet. Still just one Fiction and one Nonfiction, both notified on 3/2
  2. I was waitlisted by them last year and that email said four were offered admission for fiction. I'm pretty sure it's four for every genre.
  3. Based on the data of years prior, I'd say it's possible we'll hear from Northwestern (a poetry acceptance was actually recorded today in this year's spreadsheet), University of Oregon (acceptances/waitlists), and Indiana University Bloomington (poetry, probably). This week last year there was also some Johns Hopkins commotion, but who really knows if they'll be consistent with last year. I'd say Oregon State acceptances are possible too, considering that one was recorded on February 6th last year. Boise St and Boston University also notified acceptances/waitlists this week last year. But who really knows! UIUC was about two weeks late notifying fiction acceptances/waitlists this year compared to previous years. So everything above may be entirely unhelpful. But here's to hoping we'll all receive some good news this week!
  4. Yeah. I guess I just need to be patient lol. Responses will come eventually. This is my second year applying and I'm finding the waiting process to be more anxiety inducing this time around. Idk why that is.
  5. I know this topic has been brought up already, but it's been a few days and I'm curious what people are thinking. Last year, fiction acceptances/waitlists for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign were notified 1/15 and 1/16. The year before that, there were earlier reports. Do y'all think they've notified for acceptances/waitlists and it just so happens that none of the accepted/waitlisted people are on Draft or care to log it on the spreadsheet? Or do you think they're just taking their time? I know this is an impossible question to answer with confidence unless you yourself have received an acceptance/waitlist from there. I'm just kinda surprised there have been zero reports for fiction since they're usually one of the first to notify. I have also considered the possibility that they're telling their acceptances/waitlists not to post it anywhere, but I find this unlikely because there is a poetry waitlist reported. However, I suppose I can't completely rule it out.
  6. Me. Too. Also, anytime my phone buzzes for anything. I really shouldn't be stressing like this since it's so early. But I've also heard that UIUC should start notifying people soon, so I'm on edge about that. Looking forward to the next few months of this feeling! 🙃
  7. RUSTED FEET?? Ewwwww.... (I got rejected and I'm trying to cope)
