Anyone know when Sarah Lawrence decisions typically come out? And Columbia University? Unrelated question: I'm new here. What is "Draft"? I'm assuming it's another platform for applicants to communicate and update on the admittance process? I am not too optimistic about getting into a program this year (I was a student-athlete and got recruited for athletics for my undergrad, so this was the first time I've ever actually had to apply to an institution(s)). But I do want to better my chances for next year, which means acquiring as many resources and as much information as I possibly can before the next cycle. If ya'll have any more references lmk! Thanks!

I only joined GradCafe tonight, during a moment of extreme isolation like what you're referring to. In the past hour and a half of hearing everyone's updates, wisdom, emotions, guidance, etc, I've found a great sense of comfort. It IS nice to know we aren't alone. Looking forward to listening and learning more:)

I haven't heard back from any of my schools yet and too feel as though I put all my resources into pursuing my dream. It's been incredibly challenging to imagine what the next year of my life will look like if I don't get in. The fear of not entering an academic institution next year has inhibited my ability to write through the anxiety, to continue to develop my prose and learn independently (something I was vehement about mere months ago). I don't think this is negative. I think many people are experiencing a similar realm of emotion and it's comforting to hear that I'm not the only one struggling. Thank you for being vulnerable. The best writers and artists are. Hoping you hear good news soon!
