It sounded like calls were supposed to go out this week. There is one acceptance from Wyoming in nonfiction on the draft spreadsheet from yesterday. So maybe some more calls will go out today.
Edit: @decayingballads21 just FYI if you didn't see
Yeah, the OSU invite was shocking, sorta did it as a Hail Mary, you know. But CONGRATULATIONS on the waitlists, too! One of those is bound to turn into an invite I would think. And hopefully this week or next you get a few more bits of good news 🤞🤞🤞 Sending acceptance vibes into the universe for you!
[Wyoming's] program used to do that thing where one year it was 5 fiction and 5 nonfiction, and the next year was 3 and 3, for whatever reason, but I heard they're moving away from that to a more standard number each year. So, at minimum, it's 3 fiction admits and 3 nonfiction.
Edit: Also heard their applications were low this year as some other programs have reported, like 200 or something, so that bodes well.
For anyone waiting on word from the University of Wyoming, I heard from a friend in the program that their decisions will go out this week.
PS. For what it's worth, I've only heard amazing things from the current students about their time in Wyoming and their new program director Molly Brown.
