  1. Thank you. I got into some normal company. And I'm working as a freelancer too. Yes, I partly do!! My work is closely intricated with my daily life, and things surround them, so I think that's why they choose Neil. And Bryant wells does interactive design, and I put one of the interactive thing in my portfolio. How about you? Which year was the open house?? I found one Yale article in 2022 named 'Yale School of Art applications close for 2022(i found difficulty posting link)' and it says SoA faculty mostly interviewed around 10%! Better for us:) I also hope we get in!! fingers crossed.
  2. Yes, that's right. I majored in 'Design', so it is kind of ambiguous. At there, I mostly listened to grphic lectures though.. So I wonder if they regarded me as graphic design major. I interviewed with Nontsikeleo, Julian, Neil, and Bryant. I also think some faculty were poker-faced. But Bryant was nice. He told me about school, but I had problem with zoom videoscreen for a while so couldn't listen very well.... But I think you did great!! It's not common to recommend school lectures while doing interview. That's a really good sign. Do you know how many people got an interview this time??
  3. Hi! I applied to 3-year prelim but passed first stage as 2-year program. Thanks for the reply, I hope so too. Questions were too sharp so I really sweated out though... And did you also apply to the same course? How is everything? Who did you interview with?
  4. I applied to Yale and RCA(which is in UK). For a graphic design department. I had an interview with Yale, and waiting for the result freaks me out. I am just wondering if it's a bad sign when they kept asked me about my resume and my life trace, like wondering about gap year....etc rather than my works and portfolio. I got none of the question about my work!!!
