I had a phone call with a different department, and the person who contacted me said that they would send out letters by the end of this week.

I haven't got my official letter yet, but I heard that SAIC gives 1 full ride, 1 half ride, and some 20% scholarships to each department.

I didn't get any info about financial aid. It sounded like they are giving the call not to make us wait too long before sending official letters, so maybe they are still working on it.

Yeah maybe they're alright, I think I have to think hard about this... I saw that you already had interviews with other great programs, so I believe you will find a better fit for you!

Yes Carnegie Mellon, and it was through a zoom meeting. As sad face mentioned, you can find those comments from the recent few MFA freak out forums, and they are quite detailed. The program itself seems great, but those comments sound so alarming.

I don't know why but they just decided not to call again today but later tomorrow. I guess they just want to give a pleasant surprise, but I agree that it only gets us nervous...😂

I got one from sculpture. It seems like I missed their call, and they sent me that vague email. Maybe ceramics department is trying to avoid such confusion in advance.

Received unofficial acceptance from CMU, but still concerned about those negative comments about the program...
