I got a call too! Was too excited to ask any intelligent questions.....

I emailed Wendy a few days ago to see if we could still expect decisions by March 10 and she said "Yes, I expect decisions to be this week." My impression during the interview was that you get a phone call if you're admitted and a snail mail letter if not.

Haven't heard back from U. of Michigan yet.... I think they said this was the week though (they were on Spring break last week). We should hear March 10th at the latest!

Thanks Robin! I like how you have yours set to just blow up the pictures when you click them... I might think about doing that. I feel like when you have the big arrows the images don't get as big...

Ahhhh I think about art like science too! I like how palpable the process is in your documentation of the plaster casting. What was the motivaiton for the knitting project?

I love the Pretend Boyfriends project! Haha I had so many fake boyfriends in high school.... great stuff. Did you like working on the ship at all?

I'm drawn to the Now and Forever with the trees, but am thrown off by the one with the shirt. What's their relationship?

Cool-- I'm drawn to the subway pieces--- it's interesting how light/open the spaces feel in your photos compared to the expected feelings of confinement or darkness.

Whoa, totally enchanting. I'd be interested to know how you work-- reading your Artist Statement I get a sense of your inspiration/motivation, but I'm wondering about your technical process. Do you do many sketches to make a composition, or does it come all at once? Do you consult natural photography? How big are your pieces?
