Yeah…when she said 13 years I was like 😳 lol I’m 2 years post grad school as well. And I really think DrPH programs are starting to emphasize experience a lot. So it’s good to know 🙂

To my friends who applied to Tulane..I emailed the director personally friday, as she was who encouraged me to apply when I was hesitant and still contemplating. This is what she told me The applicant pool for Fall 2024 was highly talented and competitive. Of the 202 applications that we received, we were able to offer admissions to 35 students. Of the admitted students, their average GPA was above a 3.5 and the years of work experience for the pool was 13 years of work experience. I hope this info helps applicants for future cycles! Also received my rejection letter - no email came, but I just checked my portal and the status was updated. Gave myself a moment to cry, and let it go and decided I'll re-apply next year. THANK YOU to everyone on this forum, congratulations to all who got into their program of choice, and I wish everyone the best who is still awaiting their decision, and send all my love to those who weren't accepted during this time. Delayed does not mean denied ❤️❤️

Of course I called this morning concerned and I think the lady who answered picked up on it lol and told me it's coming out in batches, so I felt a whole lot better as well!!

Just an FYI..Tulane admissions has confirmed that they are doing a batch system this year for DrPH decisions - so everything is not coming out at once. Hope this helps.

Hi! So I actually have access to the mysterious portal lol but I haven't received a rejection or admission offer yet. I went to Tulane for grad school, and completed my M.S there. This is their first year using SOPHAS for all SPHTM degrees, previously the DrPH app was submitted directly via the Tulane Grad App Portal. So - basically, after submission to SOPHAS, they linked my masters application and documents, as well as my full DrPH application to my profile in the "portal", sort of like an automatic transfer. I assume I have access to it still because I'm a Tulane Alum, but please don't lose hope, keep your head up. It's not over until you get that official decision!!
